By making it easy and attractive for people to get around without a car, we’re bringing more people Downtown and bringing Downtown to life. Rent a bike at our Bike Depot, or sign up for one of our guided tours and explore Redding by e-bike!
Shasta Living Streets also manages the Redding Bikeshare program. Redding Bikeshare has stations around downtown Redding where visitors can check out a bike for a 60-minute period. At the end of the 60-minute period, users must dock their bike back at a bikeshare station. To use, download the BCycle app to your phone or device. Then select which pass type you would like and create an account. You can then use the mobile app to unlock a bike. A one-day pass costs $18 for unlimited one-hour long bike trips. (If you are on the bike for longer than one hour without docking, you will be charged an additional $3 for every 30 minutes.) RABA bus riders and RABA Runabout users can also get a free access to Redding Bikeshare. Just ask the customer service representative at the RABA Downtown Passenger Terminal, Mon-Sat, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm for a code in the BCycle app to unlock bicycles.
