Follow part of the path of "Old Diggings" or Quartz Hill Railroad. The long abandoned narrow gauge railroad was a critical feature that once supplied quartz to area copper smelters. "Span" in your imagination where copper laced trestles once crossed above steep drainages. Look for signs of historic residences that housed miners. Open to mountain bikes and equestrians.
