Planning a trip to Redding and looking for events, festivals, concerts and things to do in October 2022? Come celebrate fall in Redding with festivals, Halloween haunts, and more! Here are a few of our favorite Redding events in October to add to your list.

Historic Hawes Farms - All Month Long

Hawes Farm is welcoming Halloween with their seasonal pumpkin patch and corn maze! Pick a pumpkin, get lost in the corn maze, and enjoy a wide variety of attractions, such as go carts, a zipline, and a train ride through the farm.

Nash Ranch - All Month Long

Celebrate Fall at Nash Ranch! Pumpkin Patch Festival each weekend in October includes farm animal petting zoo, corn maze, hay maze, air pillow obstacle course and slide, train ride, food booths plus other snacks such as popcorn and snow cones!

Heritage Day - October 9

Historical crafts come alive during Heritage Day at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park! From noon to 4pm, head over to Burney Falls and learn about the pioneer lifestyle where you can participate in candle making, doll-making, branding cedar rounds and calligraphy. With live music, food, and period costumes, this annual event is a fun time you won't want to miss!

Note: Parking at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park is limited. It is recommended that you arrive early to ensure you get a spot. Parking along the highway outside the park is not allowed.

Redding Farmers Markets - All Month Long

There's no better start to a summers day then enjoying some fruit fresh off the vine, or indulging in a locally made fresh pastry. And luckily in Redding, you can find both at the same place! Going 45 years strong, the Redding Farmers Market takes place every Saturday behind City Hall and is the place to go for locally grown produce and artisan goods.

Hawes Haunts - September 30 - October 29

Regular corn maze just not spooky enough for you? Head to Hawes Farms after dark for Hawes Haunts and Halloween horrors! Enter the haunted corn maze, or face a zombie horde - if you dare

Dreams of Darkness Haunted House - October 1-19

Dreams of Darkness is one of the longest haunted attractions in America and the only professional haunted house in Redding. You will walk an unguided path from the ghost towns and mines of the Wild West, to the bayous and swamps of the Deep South, through the home of The Clown, encountering an unknowable terror at every turn.

Rocktober Downtown - October 8

Head on down to the all NEW Rocktober Downtown for live music, Food Trucks, Beer tasting and a Wine Garden! Tickets include 4 beer tasting tokens and a commemorative Event Glass.

Bring your motorcycle and head on over for Big Bike Weekend! The city is alive with fellow bikers, live entertainment, a bike show, and more.

Oktoberfest - October 15
